As Chairman of the Board of the Board of Architects Cambodia (BAC), Mr. SIN Sochiet plays a key role in reviewing and providing professional recommendations on draft regulations, ministerial proclamations, and legal frameworks prepared by the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction. His contributions help strengthen Cambodia's regulatory environment and promote higher standards within the architectural profession.

He is also deeply committed to developing the next generation of Cambodian architects. Through his work in evaluating professional qualifications, he supports the assessment and promotion of registered architects toward higher professional recognition, including BAC Architect status and eventually the prestigious ASEAN Architect designation. His dedication helps ensure that Cambodia continues to produce competent and internationally recognized architectural professionals.

In addition, Mr. SIN Sochiet regularly serves as a juror and professional evaluator for architectural and urban design competitions organized by the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction. These competitions encourage students and practicing architects to develop innovative master plans and urban design proposals that create vibrant public spaces, enhance community well-being, and promote sustainable tourism development throughout Cambodia.

Representing Cambodia on the regional stage, Mr. SIN Sochiet has participated in numerous ASEAN architects' meetings hosted across member countries. These meetings are conducted under the theme of "Collaboration, Mobility, Connectivity, Knowledge, and Opportunities," providing a platform for architects throughout the region to strengthen professional cooperation, exchange expertise and best practices, enhance regional connectivity, and create new opportunities for the advancement of the architectural profession.
