Proposals Competition for Architectural Design and Supervision of the Establishment of the Arts and Culture Education Research Institute, Cambodia. The establishment of the Arts and Culture Education Research Institute is an ODA grant aid project with support from the Government of the Republic of Korea. This project aims to establish an arts education institute on the new campus of the Royal University of Fine Arts in Cambodia (hereinafter referred to as "RUFA"), including facilities for educators in the art and cultural field and a performance hall for Cambodians to enjoy culture.
The Arts and Culture Education Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as "ACERI") is a building designed to support the harnessing of Cambodians' creativity through the promotion of arts education.
The RUFA Theater is one of the international competition projects for the new campus of the Royal University of Fine Arts, commissioned by the Korean Foundation for International Cultural Exchange (KOFICE). The project is located in Phnom Penh and includes a site area of 5,939 m² and a gross floor area of 2,800 m² across three floors. The main program consists of a 700-seat theater, a lobby with exhibition space, and supporting facilities.
